Gilden Integrated Creates Marketing for Tech Companies
Gilden Integrated has successfully executed integrated marketing
communications campaigns for regional and national technology
clients, such as Aether Systems, Nextel Communications, and
Cambrian Communications. A marketing agency dedicated to the
technology sector, Gilden provides clients with a suite of
marketing communications services, including strategic planning,
advertising, public relations, graphic design, interactive
services, media planning and buying, and brand management.
Gilden's integrated services model ensures that a company's
messages are consistent across every element of its marketing
communications campaign. With this type of message consistency,
interactive materials, print and broadcast advertisements,
sales kits, and press releases all have the same look and feel,
underscoring brand integrity.
Gilden Integrated was founded in 1995 by creative director and
writer Jack Gilden, who recognized the opportunities presented by
the burgeoning technology industry. Shortly thereafter, Gilden
recruited Evan Davis, a project manager with Price Waterhouse's
Management Consulting Services Group to provide the technical
expertise necessary to service technology clients.
As clients, Gilden sought out young companies that had the strong
business model and technological vision necessary to succeed. The
agency's speed and agility propelled these forward-thinking
clients, and itself, to success. Today, Gilden employs
approximately 60 professionals.
Since its inception, Gilden's offices have been located in
Roland Park. At the end of this month, the agency will move to
an historic 19th century church in the Baltimore City
neighborhood of Hampden. The building was ravaged by fire in
January 1999 and was in danger of condemnation when Gilden
purchased it for its new headquarters. Gilden spent the next
year and a half restoring the building's significant
architectural elements and renovating the community landmark into
offices.
Gilden's client roster includes Aether Systems, a wireless
application services platform provider; Airbiquity, a location
technology company; Cambrian Communications, a wholesale
broadband service provider; and Legg Mason Funds, a mutual fund
company providing long-term investors with personalized investment
guidance.
